What is GCF?

The Graduate Christian Fellowship at the University of Chicago is a community of graduate and professional students devoted to the Lord Jesus Christ. We promote love, prayer, service, and hospitality. We are pursuing growth and accountability in both our spiritual and academic lives, integrating our faith with our academic disciplines and vocations, and engaging our campus and colleagues with the good news of Jesus Christ.

Winter Retreat

Place:Sunshine Cove

Join us for our winter retreat at Sunshine Cove Camp in Union, MI! An opportunity to get away, to enjoy good fun and fellowship, and to be refreshed in spirit =) Sue Valentine will be leading our time with an in-depth look at practicing the spiritual disciplines (prayer, worship, and meditation) in order to draw closer to God.

Cost: $40 per person (with an additional $10 for gas/tolls)

What to bring: Yourself, sleeping bag, pillow, towels, Bible, notebook, pens & flashlight

We will be meeting in the Reynolds Club at 6pm on Friday to drive to MI. We’ll return Saturday evening, stopping for dinner along the way back to Chicago. Contact Jon Corbett () or Kristine Hess () if interested in attending.
